Four years ago, Liz saw her dream of creating a Brighton based fashion event, materialise in front of her eyes in the Honeyclub. There and then Brighton Frocks, the organisation pushing for recognition of Brighton’s fashion kudos was officially ingratiated into the south coast calendar.
Since then, year upon year Brighton Frocks has seen unprecedented growth, becoming the premium south coast event for showcasing independent design talent. Having expanded from a singular catwalk event into what is now known as Brighton Fashion Weekend; Liz’s brainchild is firmly established and respected in the city.
With over six years experience in the events industry Liz is a competent event planner, having managed from conception everything from themed parties, product launches, treasure hunts ship based events and most recently working at London Fashion Week. Liz has the intrinsic knowledge required for success in this competitive industry, her relentless enthusiasm complements her work ethos of dedication and perseverance resulting in wondrous and surprising shows.
As well as personally selecting the talented independent designers showcasing in each annual Fashion Weekend, Liz organises an array of interesting workshops and open studios to run throughout Brighton Fashion Weekend, alongside fabulous retail discounts for visitors and of course, the entire weekend culminates in the unforgettable Brighton Fashion Weekend Afterparty!
